Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mark Chapman Move to Higher Spots in the ICC Rankings
Pakistani pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi has become Pakistan’s highest-rated T20i bowler as per the latest updates in the ICC rankings on April 24th, Wednesday.
Shaheen has moved up two positions to 17 for the bowlers.
“Shaheen rises two spots to 17th overall for T20I bowlers on the back of his strong start to Pakistan’s ongoing T20I series at home against New Zealand, where the 24-year-old is the leading wicket-taker for the series through the first three matches,” the ICC said in a press release.
Adil Rashid of England remains at the top. Also, Ish Sodhi of New Zealand after grabbing three wickets in the series against Pakistan has moved to 18th place in the rankings.

New Zealand’s Mark Chapman after his tremendous performance against Pakistan which is leveled at 1-1 currently, has moved him 12 positions and has placed him at 33rd in the batters ranking.
Tim Seirfet has also received gains in the rankings.
“Opener Tim Seifert rises three places to 24th, while teammate Mark Chapman is the big improver following his unbeaten half-century and Player of the Match heroics In the third game of the series in Pakistan,” the ICC stated.
India’s star batter Suryakumar Yadav sits high at the top of the rankings.
Pakistan Cricket Team’s skipper, Babar Azam has dropped one spot to fifth while the team’s wicket-keeper-batsman, Muhammad Rizwan remains steady in third rank.
