Netherlands Cricket Announce their T20 World Cup 2024 Squad

The Netherlands have revealed their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 and a lot of players have missed out in the Scott Edwards-led Dutch squad.

Roelof van der Merwe and batter Colin Ackermann have both missed the final squad as the selectors have opted for younger players such as Tim Pringle, Kyle Klein, and opener Michael Levitt.

Levitt’s spot is justified as he struck a hundred in the T20I tri-series match against Namibia. He scored a total of 135 from 62 balls with 11 fours and 10 sixes.

The Netherlands is grouped with South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal in the T20 World Cup in group D.

Cook added that all players have been training constantly for the World Cup and have shown exciting performances in the ProSeries.

He added that the team has performed admirably in the last two World Cups they have participated in and will try to get in the next tournament round.
