BBL 2024-2025: Squad Profile of Brisbane Heat
Brisbane Heat is a two-time title-winning team of the BBL. Their first title was in the second edition and their latest title win is the 13th season. This means that they will be defending the title in the upcoming 14th season.

The Brisbane Heat were previously coached by Wade Saccombe who didn’t renew the coaching contract.
Brisbane Heat has almost retained much of their title-winning squad except Josh Brown who was in high demand because of his 140 off 57 balls.

Brown has left Brisbane Heat and transferred to Melbourne Renegades and has signed a two-year contract.
Among the players that have been contracted by Brisbane Heat are Xavier Bartlett, Spencer Johnson, Usman Khawaja, Matthew Kuhnemann, Nathan McSweeney,
Michael Neser, Jimmy Peirson, Will Prestwidge, Matthew Renshaw, and Mitchell Swepson.
The out-of-contract players of the Brisbane Heat are Marnus Labuschagne, Jack Wood, Max Bryant, and Jack Wildermuth.
Marnus Labuschagne has only played for Brisbane Heat and is expected to return for a ninth season.
The Heats are captained by Usman Khawaja who has become a big name in recent years and also won the Heats their second BBL title.
