Karachi-based firm Omar Associates bought the Quetta rights in exchange for the US. $11 million. Sarfraz Ahmed has been leading Quetta gladiators, and they are determined to regain their former greatness. A win in 2019 and two appearances in the final have seen this team go downhill in recent times, and they are unable to make a memorable return to the competition. In the previous season of PSL, they were at the last in the points table. They played 10 matches and won just 3 matches.

So, the squad of gladiators will include Rilee Rossouw, a South African cricketer known for his aggressive batting style and quick runs, who is set to join the Quetta Gladiators as their new captain for this season, he has been in domestic T20 leagues globally. Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the Quetta Gladiators. And he was the former captain of Quetta Gladiators. His sharp cricketing skills will guide younger players and instill a winning mentality.

Mohammad Wasim, a promising Pakistani young talent, has been named as one of the Diamond players for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Hasnain, both gold players, are promising players in Pakistan’s domestic cricket.
English opener Jason Roy has been signed by Quetta Gladiators due to his aggressive batting and ability to reach boundaries without hesitation. A Sri Lankan all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga is a skilled leg-spinner. Both players have always performed in white-ball cricket, contributing to the success of the Gladiators.
Quetta Gladiators have added expert left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir as a silver player focusing on T20 leagues. Amir’s ability to swing the new ball and deliver accurate yorkers makes him valuable in the shorter format. Young batting sensation Will Smeed, known for his aggressive strokes and easy settling of the boundaries is also in the squad.
The remaining players in the Quetta Gladiators squad, including Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Sajjad Ali, Usman Qadir, Adil Naz, Khawaja Nafay, Akel Hossain, Sohail Khan, Omair bin Yusuf, Sherfane Rutherford, Bismillah Khan (who serves as a partially replaces Wanindu Hasranga), and Sufian Mukeem, bring a mix of youth and experience to the team.

Quetta is trying to revive its status as a dominant presence in the league. The franchise is hoping for restored lineups, looking for a comeback after seasons to perform well in this season.
