BPL 2024: BABAR AZAM RETURN TO PAKISTAN AS PER PCB RULES
Babar Azam, who is one of the best cricketers in Pakistan, had to exit the BPL 2024 competition ahead of time as he didn’t receive an extension in NOC approval from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Babar Azam was a very important player for Rangpur Rider. He scored two half-centuries, and he maintained an impressive average of 50.20. The tournament will be a setback due to his absence and for the hopes of Rangpur Riders of winning the title.
“In all the five matches, I had a very good experience. The team played perfectly in all three departments, and I wish good luck to the team for the remaining tournament.” Babar told the media on Monday.

Babar Azam performed well in the recent BPL 2024; he was on the top of the leaderboard with an impressive 251 runs in just 6 innings. Despite leaving early due to an NOC issue, his impact was significant. He showed consistent performance, with a healthy strike rate of 114.61. Two well-made half-centuries show his ability to score big, and his important contributions led to several wins for the Rangpur Riders.

Despite his early exit, Babar’s performance in BPL 2024 proves his status as a top T20 batsman, leaving a lasting impression on the tournament. He is a leading run-scorer in the BPL 2024.
In an exciting match between Rangpur Riders and Durdanto Dhaka today, former Bangladesh cricketer Athar Ali Khan praised former Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s excellent performance. In today’s Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) game against Dhaka, Babar Azam scored 47 runs from 43 deliveries, with five boundaries, at an impressive strike rate of 109.30.
“I believe for young fans watching Babar Azam play, it’s a delight. It’s truly remarkable. They’ll be captivated by their TV screens just to see him bat. He’s truly one of the best in the world. Such a fantastic addition to the Rangpur Riders,” Athar Ali Khan remarked.
Moreover, many other players have participated in BPL and other leagues. Now they all must come back to Pakistan because of the NOC. The main reason for the disapproval of the NOC has not yet been discovered but the health-related problems of the players can be a big reason for rejection of the NOC. Because the T-20 World Cup is near PCB is trying its best to make sure that all the required players are in their full forms, fit, and healthy.
Babar Azam and other players will be returning to Pakistan to get ready for the preparation of the upcoming Pakistan Super League. The PSL 9 will start on 17 February 2024. All the players are a part of some teams in PSL, and fans are excited to see Babar Azam and all the other famous players like Fakhar Zaman competing in this PSL.
