Team Pakistan looks Better position in the Boxing Day Test match (PAK vs AUS 2nd Test)
Team Pakistan started Day 3 with 196-6. Australia’s bowling was brilliant and Pakistan was all out by scoring 264 runs. Australian captain Pat Cummins took 5 wickets. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia scored 318 runs in the first innings.
Australia took a 54-run lead before opening the second innings, early in the second innings with Pakistan’s star fast bowler Shaheen Afridi taking the wicket of Usman Khawaja, and shortly after another on the last ball before the lunch break. Australia was put under pressure.
After lunch, Mir Hamza, the young medium-fast bowler of the Pakistan team, performed brilliant bowling and took 2 wickets in one over to put Australia under more pressure.
After this collapse, Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith took care of the game and made a wonderful partnership of 153 runs. Both players pulled their team out of this difficulty by making half-centries. This is the highest fifth-wicket stand in Test history from a total of 20 for 4 or lower.
Both these players kept their wickets in the last session of the match. Smith scored 50 and Marsh scored 96 runs. Australia ended the third day of the Boxing Day Test with a strong lead of 241 thanks to some brilliant batting from both of them.

Pakistan’s young fast bowler Mir Hamza surprised everyone by showing his best bowling skills. There was a bit of bad fielding from Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq dropped an easy catch to Mitchell Marsh on 20 runs off Amer Jamal’s ball at second slip.
Pakistan team has a good chance in this match if Pakistan can stop Australia at a minimum score and strengthen their position in this match and win the match. The last time Pakistan defeated Australia on Australian soil was in 1995.
