Mavericks’ Fearless Troll of Travis Kelce Provokes Boos from Fans
In the third game of the Western Conference Finals with the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves, the audience had differing opinions on the appearance of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are players for the Kansas City Chiefs. While the former was warmly accepted by the crowd, the latter was heckled by the fans.
Travis Kelce received boos
Travis Kelce appeared surprised as the massive screen at the American Airlines Center singled out Mahomes, with Kelce, Brown, and Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, all seated together. The response, on the other hand, was completely different as the audience started to jeer and show their dissatisfaction with Kelce. However, Mahomes was greeted with applause and cheers throughout the competition. The quarterback, a Texas native who played for the Texas Tech Red Raiders in college, had to rise to his feet and encourage the crowd to cheer more loudly in support.

The social media team of the Mavericks got involved by posting a playful comment on Twitter, mocking Kelce: “Our guy Pat and @taylorswift13’s boyfriend are both here!” This article focuses on Kelce’s ongoing relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift, a topic that has been talked about throughout the 2023 NFL season.

However, the Mavericks’ dominance on the court was not overshadowed by what was happening off the basketball court. Dallas secured a 116-107 victory thanks to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving both scoring 33 points each, leading the team to a 3-0 series lead over Utah. This strong showing brought the Mavericks close to reaching the NBA Finals.
While the Mavericks are trying to get to the finals, Travis Kelce and Mahomes are already honing themselves for the next NFL season with the Chiefs, which will look to capture the Super Bowl three in a row. Civilian and military cooperation is also evident to this date. Out of the two, Kelce’s arrival was more welcomed than Mahomes’, but that only made the playoff game even more interesting and fans should hope that there will be more celebrities to set the crowd on fire as the Mavericks continue their push for the championship this Tuesday.
