PSL 10: PCB Chairman wishes to schedule PSL matches in Quetta next year

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi wants to host PSL and international matches in Quetta.

In a press conference, Naqvi announced that the availability and possibility of Quetta as a host for some matches for the next year’s Pakistan Super League.

In preparation for the ground in Quetta called the Nawab Akhtar Khan Bugti, Naqvi visited the ground and announced the installation of floodlights to promote cricket.

Naqvi promised and assured the people that the board would work tirelessly to make sure that the floodlights were installed before the PSL 10.

The PCB Is working with innovations for the next edition of the PSL. They have proposed a foreign venue for the tournament it being in England.

The playoffs or the tournament’s knockout stage is likely to be the part played on foreign soil.

The PCB has also proposed the franchise idea of incorporating a concept of cheat sheets. Cheat sheets are playing XIs a team submits at the toss and the captains can then decide which team of theirs to play after the toss is done.

This will ensure that teams will not have to suffer after losing the toss and being stuck with the squad they had selected.

Moreover, the PSL has been decided for the April-May window to avoid clashes with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which will be hosted by Pakistan next year.
