Scotland reveals their squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024
Scotland has announced a 15-player squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 in June.
Michael Jones and pacer Brad Wheal have returned to the squad for the tournament but will not play the T20i tri-series in the Netherlands. The two players last played for Scotland in the T20 World Cup 2022.
The coach, Doug Watson has said that the experience Wheal and Jones bring to the team is crucial for the tournament.
He added that he is looking forward to getting to know the two players and that he is excited for what lies ahead for the team.
The Scottish team is set to play a tri-series with Netherlands and Ireland before the World Cup begins. The series will pose as a practice and warm-up for the teams before the World Cup.

He believes that the T20 World Cup is a great opportunity for Scotland as a cricket nation to shine on the global stage. He thinks it is a massive opportunity for the team.
The team famously won a match against the West Indies in the T20 World Cup in 2022 and they are hoping to do even bigger things this time around.
The side led by Richie Berrington is in Group B of the T20 World Cup along with England, Australia, Oman, and Namibia.
Scotland will play their first game of the tournament against England on June 4th at the Kensington Oval Barbados in the Caribbean.
